How to Make Tacos

Introduction

Tacos is the great gift of Mexican cuisine. They are nutrient and spicy - the perfect snack. Here we offer a few recipes of tacos. If you are eager to make tacos from scratch, use our recipe of taco shells (it goes first) and taco spice (it goes last). Making tacos takes time, but it is totally worth it. There is nothing like fresh meat with vegetables stuffed into a nice tasty taco shell.

Taco shells recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of flour;
  • 2 tsp. soda;
  • salt to taste;
  • 2 tbsp. oil;
  • A glass of water;

Guidelines:

Mix up all the ingredients but water. Pour the water in very slowly. Stir constantly. When the dough is ready, split it in 12 parts, cover with a napkin and leave for 15 minutes. Roll out the dough. Make the scones 6 - 7 inches big. Fry them. If you are using the ready taco shells, you can start with the stuffing.

Tacos with forced meat

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb forced meat;
  • 6 taco shells;
  • 2 onions;
  • tomatoes 1/3 lb;
  • salad 1/3 lb;
  • cucumbers 1/3 lb;
  • greens;
  • spices to taste;
  • salt.

Guidelines:

Fry the forced meat (beef or chicken) in oil with 1 chopped onion. Chop tomatoes, cucumbers, salad and another onion. Mix it all up and add some salt and pepper. Stuff the taco shells with meat, vegetables and greens.

Tacos with beef

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp. special spice (the recipe below);
  • 1 lb. forced beef;
  • taco shells.

Guidelines:

Fry the meat till it's done. Mix 2 tbsp. of spice with 1/3 glass of water. Add spice water to meat and leave it on heat for 3 more minutes. Stuff the taco shells with meat.

Tacos with chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 glass orange juice;
  • 2 - 3 green hot chili pepper;
  • 7 cloves of garlic;
  • black pepper;
  • salt;
  • cilantro to taste;
  • taco shells;
  • salsa sauce;
  • guacamole sauce;
  • red cabbage;
  • chicken.

Guidelines:

Mix juice, green and black pepper, and salt. You may want to use a blender for that. Make sure black pepper is dissolved. Mix the pieces of chicken with marinade and place in the fridge for 1 - 12 hours. Bake chicken in this marinade 45 - 60 min. Let chicken cool. Get it out of marinade. Remove the fat from the surface of the marinade and cook chicken in it for 5 more minutes. Stuff taco shells.

Special spice

Ingredients:

Just mix it all up.

  • ¼ cup chili powder;
  • ¼ cup dried onions;
  • 3 tbsp. salt;
  • 4 tsp. amylum;
  • 1 tbsp. dried garlic;
  • 1,5 tsp. dried oregano;
  • 1 tbsp. ground curcumin;
  • pepper.

Don'ts

  • Don't overcook meat and vegetables.
  • If it is your first time making tacos, get ready taco shells and spice, and make the stuffing, but don't make too much - let it be a practice portion.

Tacos can be served with white wine, beer, or any other alcohol to your taste. If you are underage or don't drink, get soda (tacos go best with coke) or coffee. Those who try to maintain healthy lifestyle can eat tacos with tea (preferably green tea), although spicy food itself is not very healthy.
