How to Make Cheesecake


Cheesecake is a beloved kind of cake of many Americans. It is creamy, delicious and easy to make. It can be made of cottage cheese, Philadelphia cheese or any other cream cheese. The right cheesecake can't be ruined with additional ingredients: cinnamon, berries, lemon peel, etc. Cheesecake without sugar can be served with salads, there are also no-bake cheesecakes.


"New York" cheesecake with lemon flavor


  • 0,5 lb shortbread cookies;
  • ¼ lb butter;
  • 1,5 lb Philadelphia cheese;
  • 3 fresh chicken eggs;
  • 0,5 lb sugar;
  • 1/3 lb sour cream;
  • 2 tsp lemon peel;
  • 2 tsp lemon juice.


Place a piece of foil on the bottom of the baking form. Ground cookies. Mix cookies with melted butter. Cover the bottom & the sides of the form with the butter mixture. Press it. Whip the rest of the ingredients and pour batter in the form. Bake it in the oven for an hour (160 degrees C / 320 degrees F). In 1 hour turn off the oven and let your cheesecake stay in there for a while. Store the cheesecake in a fridge.

Banana cheesecake with cottage cheese (not creamy)



  • ¼ lb oatmeal cookies;
  • 5 tbsp almond;
  • 3 tbsp butter;
  • 3 bananas;
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 3/4 lb cottage cheese;
  • 0,5 lb sour cream;
  • ¼ lb sugar


  • 3 - 4 tbsp butter;
  • ¼ lb sugar;
  • 5 oz honey;
  • 5 oz cream;
  • A pinch of vanilla.



Fry and ground almonds with cookies. Add butter. Place the mixture in the form so it covers its bottom and sides. (You can bake it alone for 15 minutes). Blend or whip bananas and lemon juice, cottage cheese, sour cream, eggs and sugar. Pour blended mixture in the form and bake for an hour in the oven (160 degrees C / 320 degrees F).


Combine butter, honey and sugar. Bring mixture to a boil and dimmer. Add cream and vanilla. Pour syrup on top of the chilled cheesecake.

Chocolate cheesecake


  • 1.3 lb cookies;
  • 5 tbsp butter;
  • 0,5 dark chocolate;
  • 4/5 lb cream cheese (like Philadelphia);
  • 3 eggs;
  • 5 oz cream;
  • A pinch of vanilla.


Ground cookies and mix them with butter. Cover the bottom & sides of the form with this mixture. Combine cream cheese, sugar and eggs, vanilla and cream. Whip the mixture. Melt chocolate (double boiling). Add chocolate to the mixture and pour the whole thing into the form. Bake in the oven for 1 hour (160 degrees C / 320 degrees F). Let the cheesecake chill in the oven before taking it out.


  • Don't use eggs that aren't fresh, that can spoil your cheesecake.
  • Make sure temperature doesn't exceed 160 degrees C / 320 degrees F.



Cheesecake can be made with any sort of cream cheese, not just Philadelphia cheese. If you are not sure which one to buy , just get Philadelphia. There is nothing hard about making a cheesecake, but you can fail if you make one little mistake, which is why you need to be very attentive.
