How to Get Rid of Wrinkles
Everyone dreams of young and radiant skin regardless of the gender and age. Unfortunately, scientists still can’t suggest an ultimate method of removing wrinkles, which means we have to cope with this problem on our own. At the age of 30-35, our skin starts losing collagen and elastin and it inevitably leads to wrinkles. Luckily, a smart combination of different methods can make your skin look a lot younger and free of wrinkles. Let’s take a closer look.
If you have just noticed the first wrinkles, it’s possible to reduce them without paying for expensive cosmetic injections and surgeries. Alongside with store-bought crèmes and emulsions with collagen, AHA, and Vitanim E, you can try home remedies.
You can make facial masks with aloe vera or just buy a crème with aloe vera extract to make your skin look smoother and younger.
It moisturizes skin and saturates it with necessary elements. Add some olive oil to your facial masks for better effect.
Mix grapefruit juice, 1 tbsp sour cream, 1 tsp carrot juice, and 1 tbsp rice flour and apply it on your face and neck. Leave for 20 minutes, remove the mask, wash your face and moisturize it with grapefruit juice. Repeat twice a week.
Egg yolk mask for wrinkles around eyes

Omega-3, Vitamins A and E, copper, selenium, and some other elements are crucial for maintaining your skin. Consider foods with high intake of these elements, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, and beans. And of course don’t forget to hydrate.
If it’s too late to prevent wrinkles and too early for surgery, you can try to tone your facial muscles at home by doing simple exercises.
- Breathe in through your nose and puff out your cheeks. Breathe out through tightly closed lips. Try to release small portions of air at a time. Repeat 3-4 times.
- Puff out your cheeks and “move” the air from side to side.
- Seize your lower lip and pull it out so that your lower teeth are exposed. Hold the lip and try to get the lip back up with muscular tension.
- Close your eyes tightly, count to 3 and open them wide. Repeat 3-5 times.
- Gently massage your eyes with your fingertips to boost blood circulation and reduce crow feet.
Botox or Dysport, it’s all the same: this is a toxin that smoothes wrinkles for a long period of time. You can repeat the injections every 5-6 months to get rid of mimic wrinkles. The cons of botox are high price, partial loss of mimics, and low efficiency in patients under 50.
This technique is used to re-contour your face and cope with deep wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid and human collagen injections are the most popular ones. If you are looking for a cheaper variant, consider bovine collagen. Fat injection is also a cheaper variant.
Wrinkles appear because our skin suffers from the lack of elasticity. Laser resurfacing helps improve the elasticity of the skin. You can try chemical peeling as well – they have an analogous effect.
While laser resurfacing usually work for smaller wrinkles, it wouldn’t be enough for really deel\p ones. In this case, facelift is your last resort. This is a type of cosmetic surgery that works even for really old skin. During the surgery, they cut off the excess skin, tighten it, and use underlying tissues.
- Don’t use any treatment without allergy skin testing.
- Don’t smoke. Smoking dries your skin and cause wrinkles.
- Avoid UV rays. Always use crèmes with SPF to protect your skin.
- Try to avoid sleeping on your side or face down. Sleep on your back.
Never-aging skin is still a dream, but with proper care you can maintain and rejuvenate it. Just remember that proper diet and lifestyle, moisturizing, hydration, and SPF protection will make 50% of the result. As you can see, you don’t have to pay thousands of dollars to have young looking skin. Home remedies and techniques are available to anyone and cost nothing.
