How to Get Rid of Oily Skin
Most people have skin problems: it's either acne or blackheads, either dark circles or baggy skin under eyes, either dry or oily skin. Oils prevent your skin from premature aging which is a good thing, but shiny skin doesn't look good, and in some cases it can even repel other people. But dealing with oily skin is relatively easy. The first thing you can try is a clay mask. Clay mask will remove excessive skin oils, more than that, it will reduce pimples and make your skin much clearer. You can use it 1 - 2 times a week. Use half a teaspoon of cosmetic clay powder and a little bit of boiled water to make it into a paste. Apply it to your face and wash it off with warm water after it dries completely on your skin. Clay mask should be applied to clean skin.
Gel and skin brush
To clear skin you can use gel and skin brush two time a day: in the morning and before you go to sleep. If you have acne, you need to apply sulfum containing solutions to your skin.
Try using lemon juice to get rid of oily skin, but it should be mixed with something else, for instance - you can add it to the clay mask. It will also lighten up your skin a bit. So in case you turn to lemon juice, make sure your skin don't get exposed to direct sunlight.
Make sure you use a light cream for oily skin (no moisturizing or nutrient creams), otherwise it will make your skin even more oily. Use vitamin K creams. Cucumbers contain vitamin K, feel free to make cucumber masks.
Sauna for your face
A couple of times a month you will need to boil some water in a saucepan and lean over the edge so evaporation softens your skin, opens the pores and makes it easier to cleanse the skin. You will need to wash your face with cold water or run a piece of ice all over it afterwards (to close the pores). Feel free to add herbs into water, it can be chamomile, nettle or sage. After such "sauna" your face will be nice and fresh.
If you are at work or on a date and you are worried that your skin may look shiny, you can use a paper tissue or special blotting paper. You don't have to wipe your face, just let it touch your skin and it'll absorb all the oils.
- Apply low fat kefir / sour cream to your face and wash it off with warm water in 15 min.
- Wipe the white of an egg and add a little lemon juice, apply to your skin and wash it off in 10 - 15 minutes.
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice + warm milk and 20 gr yeast - 15 min.
- Don't forget to use scrubs and special peeling gels.
- Don't use powder or tone-cream.
- Don't use too much lemon juice - it can cause skin inflammation.
Remember - no matter how many problems you have with your skin, if you take good care of it - you can fix it. Remember that it isn't only about what you do to your skin, it's about what you eat. Make sure you drink enough of clean water to help your skin look better.
