How to Get Rid of Acne
Acne is a common problem everyone faced at some point in their lives. Acne is associated with illness or awkward age, and it looks appalling. For most of us acne is a problem of teen age, but what to do if you are not a teenager anymore but acne still won't go away? How to get rid of acne depends on what caused the appearance of acne in the first place. If your condition is really bad and damaged, go to a dermatologist right away. In most of the cases acne leaves scars so if you want to save your skin condition, start taking all the measures you can.
If you got terrible problems with acne when you were a teenager and since then acne doesn't go away, then it must be hormonal imbalance. In this case you need to see a doctor and run some test, they will examine your blood and draw conclusions, you may need to take hormones that will help your body to work right.
If hormones are not an issue then it must be the food. It is a known fact that we are what we eat. If you really want to have healthy skin and you are ready to do what it takes, then you must eat healthy. What you need is more water, you should drink at least 1,5 - 2 liters of water every day. Eat more fruit and vegetables, tomatoes and cucumbers are great, cucumbers contain vitamin k - that is good for vessels and skin. Try to eat products separately: first breakfast - fruit, second breakfast - cottage cheese. Eat more soups.
Use only quality creams and remember: expensive doesn't mean good. Such products as scrubs are good for those who don't have acne (yeah, that's right), as you shouldn't hurt your skin if you have acne: you don't want to get pus from pimples all over your face, it will only make things worse.
Remember: you should get rid of the reason of appearance of acne, otherwise getting rid of consequences doesn't make any sense.
Try drinking herbs, and washing your face with them (e. g. chamomile).
Aside from healthy food, masks and herbs, you can try applying alcohol to your acne Ė it will dry them out and kill the germs. If you decide to pop your pimples, you should always apply alcohol afterwards to prevent germs from getting deep under your skin.
Applying alcohol to your skin can hurt, and this pain is pretty annoying. There is a painless way to kill germs, dry acne and clear your skin: hydric dioxide. It rarely hurts - only if your skin is severely damaged. Benzoyl peroxide works, too.
Salicylic acid both: kills germs and boosts the process of skin cell regeneration.
You may want to consider laser therapy. Not only does is dry your acne, it boosts the process of skin cell regeneration which results into a better looking skin.
Consequences of acne are the scars and red / dark spots. There are the following ways to deal with them: clay mask (it helps to reduce acne too) - makes your skin (and marks) a little lighter; clay mask with lemon - double effect. These masks are to be made 1 -2 times a week, and of course it will be a while before you see the results. If you want the immediate results, there is laser therapy (it can help you fight both: pimples and scars / spots) and collagen shots (they trigger the natural process of skin regeneration).
Don't squeeze out your acne, or if you do, at least wash the damaged area afterwards. If you squeeze them out, there is a bigger chance they are going to live marks that are hard to get rid of. Don't forget you shouldn't hurt your skin.
Do not touch your face too often, and don't forget to wash it. Apply cream only to the areas that are dry and don't have pimples on them.
No junk food
(or any greasy food for that matter), and sweet food. I know it is incredibly hard, but greasy food and sweet food is exactly what causes acne. It means your body can't deal with the amount of sugar and oil you consume - it is too much.
Donít apply alcohol to healthy areas, it can make your skin too dry which is unpleasant and can cause skin irritation, too.
Remember: your skin is the mirror of your inner condition. It is a scream of your body for help, don't ignore it. If you are healthy inside, you are going to look beautiful on the outside, mind what you eat, and if it doesn't help, go to a doctor and follow his instructions carefully.
