How to Earn Extra Money
There is only one way to earn money - work. If you are a student and don't have time to work, there are a few things you can do: you can try and earn money after school or on weekends. Here we offer you six easy ways to earn some extra money with a little or no effort.
Sell stuff you no longer need. If you have a lot of clothes you are not wearing, why not make some use out of them? You can sell some items online. But selling stuff isn't as easy as you may think, there is a good chance you won't be able to sell them even after you lower the price. You will end up lowering prices A LOT. You should be ready for it. If you have a fancy jacket you bought for 500 $, and you lower the price to 50 $, it still doesn't mean someone is going to want it. You see, people who are willing to get an item that isn't brand new often don't care about labels. Why would they buy your jacket for 50 $ if they can just get a new one for 30 $? If you have plenty of clothes you don't wear, you can make hundreds of dollars selling them.
If you need extra money, you may want to start saving. The more money you save - the more money you have. If you repair your house and don't know what to do with the old toilet, don't call movers to throw it out, try to sell it or just give it away so people get it out of your house for free. Ask your neighbors if they need it for their summer house.
If you are a student, you can help a neighbors' kid with homework, explain some rules they doesn't understand, or just babysit. It is a nice part time job to earn a couple of bucks. You can give neighbors your phone number so they can reach you if they need a baby sitter, this way you can earn extra 50 $ every now and then.
Make a donation
If you are ok with it, you can donate blood and other bodily fluids. Not only is it good money, it is noble - it helps people who survived a car crash to recover and people who can't conceive a child. Besides, when you donate blood, you can get tested for various diseases for free (they need to know you are healthy before they perform blood transfusion).
Sell your hair
If you have long hair and want to cut it - you can sell it. If your hair is healthy and not colored, wig makers or hairstylists will pay good money for it.
You can take part in all kinds of quizzes and get paid. The money is not very big, but earning it is very easy.
- Avoid impulsive buys. Don't go to a store more often than once a week, even if you really need to buy something. If you do need whatever this is that you want to get, put it on your shopping list for the next week.
- Don't borrow money unless you have no other choice.
You can get money if you sit around and do nothing. There are easy ways to make money, but easy ways won't bring you a whole lot of money. If you want to be richer, you have to find a good job and be a thorough worker. But for now, use our tips and we hope they will help you get some extra money!
